About the Author
Stephen Kendrick is best known as a screenwriter and movie producer (Facing the Giants, Fireproof, Courageous) along with having co-wrote the New York Times best sellers The Resolution for Men and The Love Dare with his brother, Alex. Stephen and his wife, Jill, have six children, and he serves as senior associate pastor of preaching and prayer at Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. Alex Kendrick is best known as an actor, writer, and director whose film credits include Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous. He and his wife, Christina, have six children. He also serves as associate pastor of movie outreach for Sherwood Baptist Church.

It provides a lot of Biblical basis for a strong marriage along with scriptural references on the advice given. Not at all what I expected. It's more about changing yourself internally than fixing your mate.

God is good

My husband and I were on the verge of divorce. Day 3 of this dare he told me he wanted a divorce. I kept going. This has been exhausting and trying and beneficial to me personally and to my marriage. I have learned to trust in God, how to be a better wife and love my husband. We are so much happier! Thank you for this book

When I started this book, I looked at every dare as a way to compare myself to my wife; I was doing so many things right! Ha! I was quickly brought to the realization that the changes had to be in me and the book really helped facilitate those changes. I believe this book covers the multitude of issues between man and wife in a direct yet caring manner.
