I have about 4 resources of books and a Cisco lab for the Security path. This "Reference" guide is great for the Android I have to brush up or justget familiar with the material you will learn in greater detail. Highly Recommended. :-)

Don't by a Kindle book from Cisco Press until they chance their licensing model.

The license limits this book to 5 kindle devices. I will not buy any more books from Cisco Press becuase I have a lot more than 5 devices and it seems like everytime I want to use this book I get "You can't read this book on this device becuase you have exceeded your license limit". What a joke for an ebook!
I spent some time on the Amazon site and couldn't find a way to determine which devices it was on so I called Amazon. A very pleasant support person told me that the typical Kindle book allows 99 devices so they didn't write an interface for determining which device a book is on! Given that anyone buying a book from Cisco Press is an IT pro and problaby has phones, tablets, laptops and desktops all with the Kindlle app installed a limit of 5 is ridiculous. The Amazon support rep said that a limit of 5 was very unusual, 8 is the lowest she normally sees.
So, as the customer, I have to go find all of my devices, power them up, start the Kindle app and then see if the book is downloaded to it and delete it. Since I wasn't at home, the only other option was to "Deregister" devices one at a time and then try to download it on the device I had with me and then re-register the devices later. So much for the time I had available to study.
